We are two dudes from Georgia, who came to Northern VA to make something out of ourselves. It all started in 2014, where we met at the barbershop we previously worked at. When it came time for us to move on from that shop, we realized we were ready to branch off and build our own empire. The year 2019 produced the birth of what is now known as Slyck Cuttas Barbershop.
Since being established, our shop has been known for an unparalleled commitment to customer satisfaction. It’s this standard of excellence that has provided the impetus for us to grow into the business we are today.

I served in the United States Navy where I found the love for barbering. During this time, I was able to gain experience working with different hair textures and styles. After getting out of the military, I moved to Northern VA in 2012. Since then, I've obtained my barbers license and continue cutting hair professionally. I started humble and continue to be humble as I perfect my craft everyday. I love being a barber because I believe I can change attitudes and lives with my clippers.

I'm from a small city in southwest Georgia where I gained my interests in barbering in high school. During college, I became serious about cutting because it was my way to make a few extra dollars. After my sophomore year, I dropped out and attended Southeastern Beauty and Barber School. I graduated in 2011 after I completing 1500 hours. Since then, I obtained my barbers license and continue cutting hair professionally in Georgia and Virginia. I always believed my gift was to touch people's lives in my own way. It is satisfying to know that I can do that through haircuts and conversation.
